Gas detection technology redefined: The INOSENT Story

Our vision is clear: a world in which people are safely protected from hazardous gases and their effects.

Since our foundation, we have been driven by the desire to rethink gas detection systems – innovative, bus-compatible and versatile. We don’t just want to supply products, we want to create real safety. With strong national and international partners, we are building a range that inspires our customers and sets new standards for safety, efficiency and sustainability.

2017

The foundation

Michael Baumann takes the plunge and founds INOSENT. The vision: to develop gas detection systems that can do more than standard solutions. Also on board: Patrick Hedinger - technology all-rounder, salesman and commissioning specialist. The first company headquarters? Quite pragmatically in the living room and basement TV room.

January 2018

Your own office

Just a few months later, we move into a small 2.5-room apartment in Rümlang. This is where the next stage of our journey begins.

February 2018

A thoroughbred technician comes on board

Alessandro strengthens the team as a thoroughbred technician. He is involved in the commissioning of the first systems in Switzerland and ensures that our BUS gas warning systems are consistently developed further.

Fall 2018

Structure of technical customer service

With Jannik, INOSENT has gained an expert who will build up the technical service and support - for maximum customer proximity and reliability.

2018

The first step abroad

Just one year after its foundation, the first international projects are realized in Cyprus and Bulgaria. A clear signal: INOSENT is ready for the international market.

2019

The Biocenter Vienna

Together with our Austrian partner, we are implementing a major project: over 200 gas sensors are securing the renowned Biocenter Vienna. Proof that our technology is also convincing on a large scale.

January 2020

Western Switzerland is calling

Christoph joins the team as branch manager and expands our presence in French-speaking Switzerland.

Summer 2020

Expansion of the product range

With a broader portfolio thanks to the mobile gas detectors from Riken Keiki and Blackline Safety, we can appeal to new customers - and offer our loyal customers additional flexibility and added safety.

Summer 2021

Move to Regensdorf

INOSENT continues to grow. The premises in Rümlang become too small and we move to larger offices at Eichwatt 5 in Regensdorf.

Fall 2023

Technological innovations

We are developing a completely new gas detector with durable and virtually drift-free MPS sensor technology for explosive gases and vapors as well as an infrared sensor for Synthetic refrigerants. This is yet another example of our innovative strength.

Summer 2024

More space, more power

Our warehouse is expanded and equipped with a modern logistics system. This will enable us to supply our customers even faster and more professionally.

End of 2025

The digital future

With the launch of our new web store for mobile gas detectors, we are taking another major step forward: in future, customers will be able to select and order their devices directly online and access important information around the clock - simply, quickly and reliably.
