Innovative & Customer-focused
Hydrogen is a central energy source of the future, is used in many industries and at the same time poses considerable risks: it is invisible, odorless, highly flammable and explosive even in small quantities. Reliable monitoring is therefore crucial for the protection of people, systems and processes.
Typical areas of application include refineries, chemical plants, energy and power plant infrastructures, battery laboratories, battery charging stations and hydrogen production and distribution – wherever H₂ is produced, processed or stored.
Detecting hydrogen places special demands on the sensor technology. While catalytic sensors are susceptible to drift and can be poisoned by other substances, infrared sensors are completely unsuitable for hydrogen, as H₂ does not absorb IR radiation. That is why we rely on technologies that have been specially developed for hydrogen and guarantee maximum operational safety.
With the I3605-LEL-M-LCD gas detector we offer a solution based on the latest MPS technology. It is drift-free, resistant to poisoning and has integrated self-monitoring. As a result, it offers significant advantages over conventional catalytic sensors and impresses with its long service life and low maintenance requirements. For particularly safety-critical applications, additional SIL2 gas detectors from Sensitron which guarantee maximum reliability in accordance with international safety standards.
Our systems enable reliable detection of hydrogen even in demanding environments. They ensure maximum safety, reduce maintenance costs and offer long-term investment security. At the same time, they can be used flexibly – in both stationary and mobile gas detection systems.
With INOSENT, you are opting for state-of-the-art sensor solutions that combine precision, robustness and sustainability. In this way, we are helping to ensure that the use of hydrogen as the energy source of the future is not only efficient, but also safe.
