The use of a reliable exhaust gas or CO warning system is essential in modern underground car parks. This is because dangerous gases such as carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) are produced even with low levels of vehicle traffic. The INOSENT CO warning system for underground car parks combines state-of-the-art technology, maximum safety and energy-efficient ventilation operation – ideal for any underground car park.
With the Compact Pro control unit for up to 16 CO/NO₂ sensors or the Ultimate version for up to 30 sensors, comprehensive monitoring is ensured. The intelligent CO/NO₂ sensors I2660-CO+NO₂ continuously monitor the air quality. If the values rise, the ventilation is automatically activated and the LED illuminated banner type I60 signals danger in good time. The integrated web server in the control center enables easy monitoring and configuration via the network. Expansion options with Gas detectors for hydrogen or liquid gas, for example, offer maximum flexibility.
A special highlight of the INOSENT solution for Underground car parks is the modern RS485 bus system with up to 1200 meters of cable. It enables the connection of bus-compatible sensors and alarm lights, which significantly reduces the amount of cabling required. In accordance with SWKI VA-103 guidelines, absolute humidity sensors I2238 can also be installed indoors and outdoors on the same bus. They enable differential humidity control for demand-based ventilation control. Ventilation is only activated if the humidity inside is higher than outside. This avoids unnecessary ventilation and specifically minimizes the risk of moisture damage.
