The GX-3R series from Riken Keiki are portable 4-gas detectors designed to protect users from exposure to flammable hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen deficiency (O₂). The devices allow these four gases to be monitored simultaneously, providing comprehensive protection in potentially hazardous environments.
The GX-3R series 4-gas detectors are intrinsically safe and ATEX certified, making them ideal for use in hazardous environments. Each model in the GX-3R series offers a continuous operating time of at least 3000 hours and is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries. An exception is the GX-3R Pro model, which is designed for use with rechargeable NiMH batteries and offers an operating time of 35 hours.
