Innovative & Customer-focused
The GX-6000 is a groundbreaking product. This powerful handheld device is able to check up to six gases simultaneously. In addition to the four standard gases for personal gas detectors, it can also be equipped with PIDs for VOCs, IR or sensors for the detection of toxic gases.
Dual-channel PID performance
The GX-6000 has three PID ranges, a 10.6 eV sensor that measures either the ppb or ppm range and the new 10.0 eV sensor. The GX-6000 is the only PID device on the market with the ability to combine two PID sensors in one device.
Up to 6 sensors, including up to 2 photoionization detectors for VOCs
This powerful mobile device allows users to monitor up to six gases at once. In addition to the four standard gases, namely combustible gases (LEL), O2, CO and H2S, the GX-6000 has two additional smart channels for PID, IR or toxic gas detection sensors. Smart sensors save their calibration data, allowing users to replace gas sensors directly if required.
The GX-6000 has a powerful internal pump, a dead man’s alarm, a panic alarm, an LED flashlight and a large display that rotates automatically. Users can choose between a single gas PID device or a multi-function tool that makes full use of all six channels. Users can access an internal library of over 600 different VOCs and select the desired target gas.
The GX-6000 features a rugged design that is built to withstand the harshest environments. It is equipped with a removable, shockproof rubber boot and a dust and water resistant IP-67 rated bezel. Thanks to the five bright LED warning lights on three sides of the device, the alarm signal can be seen from several perspectives. With loud audible alarms and a vibrating alarm, the GX-6000 provides clear and immediate warnings.
Areas such as oil refineries, petrochemical storage facilities, sewage and water treatment plants, pharmaceutical laboratories, utilities, extinguishing systems and chemical plants are dangerous places. Workers and visitors need constant personal protection from gas without the added burden of bulky equipment. Portable single gas detectors are ideal for this.
